Orchid School, awarded as One of the Best Higher Secondary Schools (10 +2) in the nation, has been established as a brand in the realm of +2 education in Nepal.
Since its inception in 1997, Orchid has sincerely been nurturing teenage minds: strengthening and empowering their potential and aspirations. As a result, hundreds of successful graduates have been produced, many of whom are now into reputed professional careers. Through its curricular and extra-curricular activities, Orchid consciously stimulates 21st-century skills: Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.
Orchid amalgamates a galaxy of highly reputed professors, vastly experienced lecturers, 24×7 dedicated mentors, and never-tiring admin executives who prepare students not only for NEB finals but also for competitive bachelor entrance, Careers, and life. Through the regular lectures, entrance preparatory workshops/ tests, extra- extracurricular activities, the orchid faculty members and executives impart quality knowledge, and execute practical sessions for exposure and future Careers.
The ECA department offers students both national and international platforms to showcase their talents and arts. The counselling and care department looks after each individual focusing on his/her aspirations as. family background, career prospects, etc.
To conclude, Orchid is a home beyond your sweet home. You feel proud to be an Orchidian and Orchid alumnus. At Orchid, you don’t simply get the syllabic knowledge; but every single day, you are inspired and encouraged to reinvent yourself as somebody that the nation can be proud of.

A little progress each day adds up to big results because it allows you to build momentum and keep moving forward. When you only focus on the big picture, it can be easy to get discouraged and give up. But when you break your goals down into smaller, more manageable steps, it becomes much easier to stay motivated and on track. So if you want to achieve your goals, don’t be afraid to start small. Just keep taking those little steps each day, and eventually you’ll reach your destination.
This is me being perfectly honest in as little words as possible – you’ll never go wrong with choosing Orchid. To our excellent teachers for whom I have nothing but extreme gratitude and warm admiration; and equal respect goes to the earnest staff members who worked tirelessly to make our college experience as cozy as possible – thank you. Thank you for some of the best experiences I’ve had as a part of my education.
You’ll make many friends along the way — some will be your teammates for international competitions (you’ll be surprised by how much value our college name holds) and some will be your dance/concert partners in college events. Friends who will stand beside you at the college gate for long haircuts (a forewarning ;P), and friends who will stay through thick and thin through lab assignments, mid-exam crises and beyond college life.
This “old” alumni has nothing more to add, go young people, have the time of your life!
PS – I got to borrow some “extra” books from the library for my entrance/exam preparation because I wrote an application to our Principal sir. Do not hesitate to ask your teachers for help, they’ll assist you in more ways than one.
